Bedbugs

Illustration of bedbug

A female bedbug can lay up to five eggs per day.

Adult bed bugs are generally flattened and reddish brown in color. They resemble apple seeds in appearance and size.

Bed bugs do not transmit any pathogens or diseases, their bites usually result in swollen red, itchy welts.

Small reddish or brownish spots on one’s linens are often the first sign of an infestation.

Any hotel can be a victim of bedbugs being brought in, from five stars to no stars, a nationwide problem for the hotel industry.

Bed bugs do not discriminate, but can be found in the newest, the best and the most expensive of hotels.
